For those of you that have joined our Consortium, we want to remind you that randoms will need to be completed as soon as possible. That way we can make sure your percentages are where they need to be before the year ends.
Many of you have to follow DOT regulations. So remember that DOT states you must test at a certain percentage annually. The following are the DOT minimum rates for random selections. DOT clients will fall under one or more of these divisions; FMCSA, or Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, must test 50% drug
and 10% alcohol annually, and PHMSA, or Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration, must test at 25% drug annually. FTA, or Federal Transportation Administration, must test at 25% drug and 10% alcohol annually. If you have questions on DOT regulations
or testing percentages, please call the random department at our corporate office in Odessa. We will start your 2009 annual statistical
data reports in January.
As a member of our random program one of the services we provide is to complete and submit requested information
regarding your anti drug and alcohol program. Occasionally you will receive a request from and audit company, such NCMS
or Veriforce, requesting updated information, and these requests are time sensitive. Please remember that we will not receive a copy
of this request, only you will. Please forward these request to the random department as soon as possible so that we may complete
and submit within time requested and provide you the best service possible. Also, when you receive an audit notice from DOT
or DPS, please notify us and we will make sure you have all the documents needed regarding your anti drug and alcohol program.
We appreciate
your business and look forward to serving you in 2010.
